Wayzata Lacrosse Spring 2024 Season (registration closes 2/16/2024).

Viking Goat and Champlin Ice Breaker June 1-2
GNLL State Tournament June 8-9

Boys:
We are offering teams at 8u, 10u, 12u, 14u. Season runs from April 1-June 9.

Practice: M/W Elm Creek B&C
8U-10U 6:00-7:00
12U-14U 7:00-8:30
Tryouts (12U and 14U only):

  1. Warmups: Friday 3/1 –12U 6-7:30pm/14U 7:30-9pm (Central Dome)
  2. Warmups: Tuesday 3/5 – 12U 7-8pm/14U 8-9pm (Plymouth Creek Dome)
  3. Tryouts Skills: Friday 3/8 – 12U 6-7:30pm/14U 7:30-9pm (Central Dome)
  4. Tryouts: Saturday, 3/9 – 14U 7-8am/12U 8-9am (Plymouth Creek Dome)

Price:

8U - $225:  8-10 games, Wayzata Tournament, GNLL Spring State Tournament
10u - $425: 8-10 games Wayzata, Viking Goat or Champlin Ice Breaker, GNLL State Tournament
12U - $475: 8-10 games Wayzata, Viking Goat, GNLL State Tournament
14U - $475: 8-10 games Wayzata, Viking Goat, GNLL State Tournament

Girls:
We are offering teams at 8u, 10u, 12u, 14u. Season runs from April 1-June 9.

Practice: T/Th Field B&C
U8-U10 6:00-7:00
U12-U14 7:00-8:30 

Price:

8U - $225:  8-10 games, Wayzata Tournament, GNLL Spring State Tournament
10u - $275: 8-10 games Wayzata, Viking Goat, GNLL State Tournament
12U - $300: 8-10 games Wayzata, Viking Goat, GNLL State Tournament
14U - $300: 8-10 games Wayzata, Viking Goat, GNLL State Tournament

Co-Ed 6U

Season runs from May & June, dates TBD.

Practice: T/Th Elm Creek Playfield - 6:00-7:00 / Games will be played against other associations!

Price: $100

 

Open Dome - Boys and Girls

February Central Dome Lacrosse Schedule

Cost: $75
Wednesdays: February - 7, 14, 21, 28
Girls - Open Lacrosse from 5:30-7pm
Boys - No open lacrosse due to Boys box practice for 10U, 12U and 14U from 7-9pm

Fridays: February - 2, 9, 16, 23
Girls - Open Lacrosse from 5:30-7pm
Boys - Open Lacrosse from 7-9pm

*Hours for boys and girls subject to change based on sign-ups

Age Eligibility

The age requirements for each division 6U-14U are below. Each team has two USA Lacrosse age groups (i.e. 8U team is 7U and 8U in USA Lacrosse). If you are interested in playing up/down, please contact president@wayzatalax.com to request a waiver. Waivers are dictated by league rules and are not guaranteed. 

Scholarships

Scholarships for some or all of the registration fees may be available. For additional information, please contact president@wayzatalax.com to confidentially apply. 

Below is the 2023-2024 Age Group bracket. Players will play in a team age from for two years (i.e. 11U and 12U play on the 12U team)

The 2023-2024 Age Group eligibility begins in Fall of 2023. Players that were at the top of their age group in spring/summer 2023 will move up to a new level in fall lacrosse.
