WLA is a non-profit, volunteer-based association offering the young people of the Wayzata School District in grades 1 through 12 an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of lacrosse in a safe, respectful and fun environment.


To register for a highlighted program, double click on the form title and fill out the required information.  Be sure to "accept" any boxes requiring acceptance by clicking on the box.  All fees are collected electronically by a secure online processing product using your credit or debit card.

Please note: you cannot register for programs and leagues without being a WLA member.  There is no cost for WLA membership.  As you start the registration process, you'll be asked for your email and password (if you're an existing member).  If you're a new member, you'll be given an opportunity to register.  Once registered as a member, you must then add your child(ren) to your membership in order to proceed with the program registration process.  Be sure to indicate Wayzata as your local associated program when registering.

Scholarships are available for high school and youth players who need assistance with paying for registration expenses.  To confidentially inquire, click here for an application form and instructions for submitting your request.

Paid Coaches 2020

Complete this registration to begin the process to coach a team in the Wayzata Lacrosse Association. 

In order to complete your registration, you must have a current US Lacrosse Coaches Membership and provide your membership number.  If you do not have a coaches membership, please get one through US Lacrosse and the association will reimburse you.

During registration, you may be directed to a National Center for Safety Initiatvies (NCSI) website to complete a background check.  NCSI will return a "green light" or "red light" result to WLA from the background check.   Coaches that receive a "red light" result wil automatically be rejected for a coaching position for Wayzata Lacrosse. You will also be asked to complete a background check as part of the US Lacrosse coach's membership.

Additionally, you must also have completed the online concussion training, obtained a certificate of completion, and sent that to coachescoord@wayzatalax.com. 

Paid Coaches must also submit a completed W-9 form to our Treasurer per instructions provided in the registration process.

Volunteer 2020
