WLA is a non-profit, volunteer-based association offering the young people of the Wayzata School District in grades 1 through 12 an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of lacrosse in a safe, respectful and fun environment.

WLA Is Bursting with Trojan Pride

The Wayzata Lacrosse Association is a non-profit organization that exists to support lacrosse within the Wayzata School District. You might guess that we are the some of the biggest Wayzata High School lacrosse fans ever!  In the interest of being all legal and such, we do need to mention that the Wayzata Lacrosse Association is not affiliated with the Wayzata School District.

In addition to the fact that almost all of our WHS players have been part of the WLA, we strive to support Wayzata lacrosse in as many ways as we can.  Before the season, WLA also hosts high school Captains' practices for both the Girls' and Boys' teams.

We host our annual youth lacrosse night at a Wayzata Girls' and Boys' home game each fall.  We also support the "Be a Wayzata Ball Kid" program at all of our home games.  (If you want to be a ball kid, send an email and we can hook you up! Remember, all kids get in free to any Wayzata Lacrosse home game if they are wearing their Wayzata Lacrosse Association jerseys.  Go, enjoy the games, learn from the big kids and cheer on the Trojans!
