The boys summer season (3rd-8th grades) generally starts in early May and ends in mid-July.  If the team performs well during the season, they may qualify to play in the Youth Lacrosse of Minnesota end-of-season tournament which is typically held the final week of July. Practices start from the beginning of May.  During the school year practices are held typically 2-3 days a week.  There may be a few Saturday's as well. After school ends for the summer, we have 2-3 practices per week plus 1 or 2 games. Friday thru Sunday there is no lacrosse unless there is a tournament scheduled.

Summer league is instructional so there will be a mix of skills on each team. Your player does not have to have previous experience to play at this level. He will learn the basics from some very skilled coaches most of whom have played in high school or in the college ranks.
